Upcoming “I Love Grenfell” Tuesday Fundraising Events

Dear Folks:

The first fundraising event - “I Love Grenfell”Tuesday, held on April 10 was a success and a total of $251.20 were raised for Grenfell’s swimming pool repair. We were very pleased and impressed with the level of the community participation in that event.

We are planning to hold this fundraising event on a regular basis from now on. Starting from May 1, we are going to cancel out our regular day off on the first Tuesday of every month to raise money for Grenfell’s swimming pool repair project. Please join us on May 1 and again, we will:

~Collect all the money from our coffee sales on the day as our donation to the Town Office for the swimming pool repair.

This fundraising event will continue until the swimming pool repair project is done.

This show was a huge success in 2011 & we hope for an even bigger & better one in 2012!

Proceeds go towards the Grenfell SAVE OUR POOL fund.

Serenity Gardens, Greenhouse & Landscaping will be hosting a Customer Appreciation Day on June 2, 2012 from 11am - 2pm

Super Savings, Door Prizes, Gourmet Hot Dogs, Juices & other Good Old Homemade Sweets

Donations to the Save Our Pool fund will be accepted.

There will be an indoor Bull-A-Rama held in the Grenfell Arena on June 23^rd (bulls start @ 7:30)  Cabaret to follow with a band.  Slo-pitch tourney in the plans & lots of fun!  More details will be available in the coming weeks.  All proceeds will be going to the Save Our Pool fund.

The 2012 Canada Day Celebrations will be held on Saturday, June 30th.

There will be a Canada Day meeting on April 17 @ 7pm @ the Library.

EVERYONE & EVERY GROUP who is planning to hold an event for Canada Day Celebrations is encouraged to attend this meeting to let the committee know what is happening so posters can be made.

Peace Lutheran Church will be holding a week long Vacation Bible School on July 30 - August 3, from 1-4 pm. To register your child pre K (age 4) to grade 6 please contact Joyce Maier at 697-3082.
