Our branch of the Genealogy Society has been active in the community for 25 years; we meet the third Tuesday of each month [Jan/Apr/June/Oct/Nov], in the morning at the Grenfell Library. We are always looking for new members and are very willing to help out anyone just getting started in their research.
Once a year we take part in the cemetery recording project which eventually will be available online therefore making it easier for those researching from other provinces and/or countries.
Presently we are working on a project with the Grenfell Museum in the construction of a Heritage Album; this is a long term project.
Our branch has a small library of books and bulletins that contain useful information on getting started researching.
